Old Bolsover Town Council has submitted a grant funding bid to the Veolia Environmental Trust for a new play area for Bentinck residents.
The scheme aimed at younger children from toddlers to 12yr olds will have a good range of equipment and will be fenced off for the safety of children using the equipment.
This replaces existing equipment on the site which is around fifty years old.

Due to ongoing restrictions to stop the spread of the Coronavirus, the Council has taken the decision to cancel the Christmas Festival this year.
Any traders who have paid for stalls will be refunded in full.
We are hoping to back with this fantastic event on Saturday 27th November next year.

This mornings Charity Day has been another Great Success, Thanks to everyone turning out and the charities involved.
The Raffle draw has now taken place. The list of lucky numbers can be downloaded below.
Inner Wheel, Tots and Toddlers and Bolsover Parish Church have been drawn out to receive a share of the raffle ticket sales proceeds.

Old Bolsover Town Council Mayor, Cllr Pat Cooper, was on hand to congratulate young Beaver Scout, Ethan Ellam on completing a sponsored bike ride of approximately 30 miles departing from the Parish Rooms cycling to Clumber park with the return leg finishing at Bolsover castle.
