Council of the Year

Old Bolsover Town Council is delighted to have been named Council of the Year at the Derbyshire Association of Local Councils (DALC) Awards, jointly with Tibshelf Parish Council.The award recognises our commitment to youth engagement and community cohesion through the creation of the Bolsover Skate Park, a project that's already helping to reduce antisocial behaviour in the area.This achievement wouldn't have been possible without the amazing support of our partners:Bolsover District CouncilExtreme WheelsMaverick IndustriesBolsover Safer Neighbourhood TeamBolsover Community Safety Partnership…and all those who played a part in making this project a success!A huge thank you to everyone involved, this award is a reflection of what we can achieve together for our community.
