Silver Success for Old Bolsover Town Council

Old Bolsover Town Council is proud to have achieved Silver Accreditation in the Local Council Award Scheme. This national recognition demonstrates that the Council meets high standards of good governance, community engagement, and continuous improvement.

Old Bolsover Town Council is one of only a few councils in Derbyshire to hold this level of accreditation, with just three councils currently holding Bronze status and one other council also achieving Silver Accreditation.

In addition to the Silver Award, the Council received further recognition at the recent DALC Awards, with:

• Council of the Year – jointly with Tibshelf Parish Council
• Highly Commended – Town Clerk

These awards highlight the Council's dedication to serving the community, maintaining strong and transparent governance, and continuing to improve local services for the benefit of residents.
